Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya arriving Serena Mountain Lodge well in time for lunch. Secreted within the deep forest reserve, this lodge offers game viewing opportunities and a glorious panorama of the mountain. The bedrooms are furnished with indigenous wood and African art, each with private bathroom. Their spacious balconies overlook the water-hole where a continual procession of animals come to drink, bathe, spar and forage around. Dinner and overnight at the tree lodge.

Another morning game drive in Nakuru, then departs for Naivasha, arriving Lake Naivasha Country Club well in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals – there are no predators. Dinner and overnight at the club.

Spend two days in this wonderful game reserve, with early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will have the best opportunity of spotting the buffalo, lion, leopard, elephant, and rhino popularly known as the big five. You may opt to go out with picnic lunch boxes to spend most of the time in the park, coming back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Visit manyatta (local Maasai villages) available at an extra fee payable direct to the village elders. All meals and overnight at a lodge or a tented camp.
