Itinerary Cost

Day 1
Kampala / Bwindi
Morning departure for the south with stops at the craft village at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping. After lunch at the Lakeview hotel in Mbarara, proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the “Little Switzerland”. Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp and Lodge.
Approx transit time: 8 -10 hrs

Day 2
Day 1 of Gorillas
Briefing by Park ranger guides. Later with picnic lunch, start a 30 minute – 8 hour strenuous trek to find the Mountain gorillas. Overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp and Lodge.

Day 3
Day 2 of Gorillas
With picnic lunch, take a second chance tracking the gorillas, return to your accommodations for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp and Lodge.

Day 4
Bwindi / Lake Mburo
Transfer to Mbarara for lunch before heading into the Lake Mburo Park for an afternoon game viewing on the way to your night stay at Lake Mburo Mihingo Lodge.
Approx transit time: 6½ hrs

Day 5
Lake Mburo / Kampala
Morning game viewing in the park. The game in the park includes; Zebra, Impala, Eland, Topi, Hippo and a variety of woodland bird species. After lunch, depart for Kampala. End of services.

Prices include:
– Private transportation in a custom safari minibus with pop-up roof ideal for game viewing and sightseeing.
– Services of a trained and experienced English speaking driver/guide
– Full board accommodation in the lodge/tented camp as mentioned
– Bottled water for use during the safari
– Game drives and all park entry fees

Not included:
– International air transportation to and from Nairobi
– Nairobi Accommodation
– Balloon safari in Maasai Mara
– Expenses of personal nature such as visas, travel/baggage insurance, laundry, beverages, tips etc.
– Christmas, New Year and Easter supplements
