Day 1 Nairobi/Taita Hills Safari Resort
Nairobi/Taita Hills Safari Resort Depart Nairobi with SGR at 8:00am, arriving Voi station at approximately 12:02pm. Meet by Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa representative, located in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and transfer to the resort, approximately 40 munutes drive. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon, relax with an optional of swimming and WW1 Museum visit on-site. See Taita Hills role in the East African Campaign — trenches, artifacts, German fort ruins from 1914-1918. Only safari lodge with a war museum. Late afternoon game drive in the private sanctuary. Dinner, then relax by the swimming pool or book a spa treatment. Optional night game drive at extra cost. Overnight at the resort. Meal plan: {Lunch, Dinner}
Day 2 Transfer - Saltlick Safari Lodge
Early morning game drive in Taita Hills Sanctuary for best predator activity. Then back to Taita Hills Resort for Breakfast and soon after transfer to nearby Saltlick Safari Lodge, famous stilted lodge and underground hide. Lunch with views over the floodlit waterhole. Later visit the underground photography hide at waterhole level — eye-to-eye with elephants, buffalo. Late afternoon game drive or stay at lodge. Dinner and night game viewing from terrace. NOTE: Children under 5 years are not permitted at Salt Lick Safari Lodge for safety. Families with young kids should book Taita Hills Safari Resort Meal plan: {Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner}
Day 3 Saltlick - Mombasa or Nairobi
Relaxed breakfast then transfer to Voi SGR Station for train back to Nairobi or to Mombasa. Meet by our representative and transfer to your hotel in either in Malindi/Watamu/Mombasa/Diani/Nairobi or to JKIA for international flight. End of our services. Meal plan: {Breakfast}
